SeeTec is founded as an installer of security systems specializing in video surveillance. The company gains experience in conventional video technology.
1998
SeeTec develops the first camera management software for network- based video surveillance worldwide and starts distributing Axis network cameras.
In the years to follow, SeeTec obtains leadingedge knowledge in the installation of network-based application solutions.
2000
SeeTec transfers the distribution tasks to certified resellers, imparting

2003
The Swiss subsidiary SeeTec Schweiz GmbH is founded in the city of Lucerne.
2004
SeeTec launches the 5th generation camera management software:

2005
SeeTec wins SONY Professional Solutions as another strong partner, taking over distribution.
SeeTec scoops a top award in the 2005 SMB awards program (Mittelstandsprogramm 2005).
